    Mar 25,  · Verbum Verus’ debut release,”Melkiresha” creeps into you and then slithers out ever so easily. The vocals stand out the most here. Not a convential screaming style and also going against the grain of the rhythm in a good way. The spoken word and yelling vocals pair with the dissonance throughout the album to make you feel quite weary.

    Verbum Verus seem woefully relegated to that back-avenue of bands who choose to consolidate the footsteps of bolder artists. That said, there were moments on Melkiresha I found myself surprised. "The Fourth Kingdom" opens the album with a characteristic atmosphere, but the band's restraint in keeping the tempo slow for so long does put them a.
