Nearly two decades after the first volume, the second installment of the Beatles BBC recordings arrives and, like its predecessor, On Air: Live at the BBC, Vol. 2 condenses the Fab Four's voluminous BBC sessions into an easily digestible double-disc of highlights. The generous track running length is slightly misleading as this, more than the set, is peppered with dialogue, interviews.

referencing Live At The BBC, 2xCD, Comp, Mono, RM, CDP 8 2 6 I recommend this be merged with the entry that lists Apple first, followed by Capitol. This one is good for the matrices, but the other has a large amount of recording data.

Nov 11,  · "Live On Air" (BBC Volume 2) is a very good album, both musically and historically. It comprises 40 musical tracks, 19 spoken intros/clips, and 4 bonus Pop Profile interviews. The re-mastered hi-fi quality is mostly very good, and the 48 page booklet is excellently presented/5().
