Unknow to me at the time I bought the CD, Adele was one of only a tiny few imporvisational harp players in the world. Her music sounds as though it is coming from a muted piano being played by a jazz master. She indeed was a master, however her instrument was the Harp. This mostly forgotten CD is a treasure. I absolutely love it/5(3).

The Bobby Gordon Quartet (ARCD ), featuring Adele Girard Marsala, happily explores fifteen standards, such as Indiana, As Long As I Live, and Basin Street Blues. The unique presence of harpist Adele Marsala adds an exquisite touch. Marsala's harp lends an innocent accent that keeps you alert with delight and anticipation.
