    Background. This Year's Model was Elvis Costello's first album with The Attractions. Most of the songs had been performed live with them prior to the recording of the album. The recording at Eden Studios began at the end of and was completed in early The sessions took about eleven days. In liner notes for a reissue of the album, Costello cites the Rolling Stones Aftermath as a Genre: New wave, power pop, punk rock.

    comentando This Year's Model, LP, Album, Ltd, Num, RE, RM, Hal, MFSL , B Of all the Costello mofi editions I've heard, this may be the only one that disappoints. The organs, to me, sound buried, the bass a little too boomy/5(K).

    This Year's Model is Elvis Costello's second album and his first with the Attractions, released in It was mainly recorded at Eden Studios in West London. [RYM # overall].
