Having the Standells do an album of Top 40 covers -- in -- was a boneheaded idea to begin with, and hardly worthy of revisitation. This CD reissue eliminates of a couple of the ten songs (which are available on other Standells reissues on Sundazed), and adds seven rare tracks of mild interest, most of which were previously unissued, or previously unavailable in the U.S.4/

Recorded between and Tracks 1 to 8 were originally released in September on the The Hot Ones LP by Tower (Cat#: "LP "). The original LP has 2 more tracks not included here ('Dirty Water' and '19th Nervous Breakdown') which were duplicated from their previous album Dirty Water. Tracks 9, 11, previously unissued.
