This CD is so good, it brought tears to my eyes. What could be better than the greatest names in reggae covering UB40 hits with UB40 as the back up band. If you are a roots reggae and UB40 fan, you must have this. Best tracks are: Gregory Isaacs singing BRING ME YOUR CUP. Leroy Sibbles HIGHER GROUND and The Mighty Diamonds YOU COULD MEET SOMEBODY/5(16).

Aug 18,  · Great idea, the greats of reggae and their version to well known UB40 tunes. Gregory Issac is in top gear for bring me your cup and Leroy is rocking on higher ground. If you like UB40 but found it hard to rate them alongside the more traditional reggae acts, listen to this album /5(13).

However, on the strength of the amazing cache of reggae vocals alone (Toots Hibbert, Alton Ellis, Freddie McGregor, John Holt), this album is a unique work, but considering the occasional spotty songwriting in UB40's originals, the album doesn't always reach the lofty heights that the distinguished panel have attained in their storied careers.
